Prestwick, rich and varied - and some times desolate!

As (barely) teenagers, we would get the 6.30am “Workers’” train from Waverley to Glasgow then on to Prestwick by bus for the annual USAF open days. When we were a little older, someone would take a car-full of us through for a Saturday or Sunday in the hope that something would be happening. Sneaking into the SAL hangars would always produce something of interest.
